Annual conference 2011

On Saturday November 19th we held our fourth annual conference.  Without doubt it was the best yet!
  • We learned about the Womb Twin research project from Dr Victoria Bourne of StatsArt, which is beginning to clarify the psychological profile of womb twin survivors.
  • We heard about womb twin healing work being carried out in Spain by Claudia Cortes and Peter Bourquin.
  • We heard personal stories by three womb twin survivors, which illustrated the great variety of experience that womb twin survivors have, while sharing the same kind of pre-birth loss.
  • From Monica Hudson  of Twindividual.com we learned more about  making symbols  to represent the lost twins or mutiples, and ways to carry out rituals of letting go.
  • Meanwhile,  small selected groups attended:
  • An art therapy workshop with Paula Short
  • A drama therapy workshop with Claire Schrader of Making Moves
  • A Womb Twin healing path ritual, facilitated by Olga Waters.
